Remo Muslimah's Connect (RMC): Commemorating the "Annual World Hijab Day"

It all started on the 1st of February,2013. World Hijab Day (WHD) is a day set aside to recognized millions of Muslim women worldwide living a modest live wearing their hijab.

The idea of the World Hijab Day (WHD) is the brainchild of a New York resident, Nazma Khan, a social activist who came to Ney York from Bangladesh when she was just eleven. She experienced lots of difficult as the only Hijabi in middle school. Her purpose is to encourage religious tolerance and understanding by inviting women (non-Hijabi Muslims/non-Muslims) to experience the hijab for one day.

A prominent member of the oraganising committee is Princess Aisha, one of the 2013  World Muslimah Finalist and The District Amirah of Nasfat Youth Wing, Remo Distrct, Ogun State.

Starting on the 1st of Febrary, 2018, there will be "Fun Walk" to Commemorating World Hijab Day (WHD). Remo Muslimah's Connect (RMC) is a brainchild of Nasfat Youth Wing, Remo District,Ogun State.

The events will Features:

• Hijjaber's Fun walk (World hijab day awareness)
• Marriage Seminar
• Islamic parenting
• Public speaking & Presentation skills
• Leadership training
• Digital training with Google Team
• Empowerment sessions
• Fiqhu sessions

According to Nazma Khan, founder of World Hijab Day (WHD), women in Hijab is not only modest but also powerful with the hatch tag #StrongInHijab.

The Remo Muslimah's Connect 2018 is tagged The Conscientious Gem. The events scheduled to hold at NASFAT Branch, Ogijo between Feb 1st-4th, 2018 is all expenses paid events by the organisers except a little consideration and registration fee of;
