Principal Suspended Muslims Girls for Wearing Hijab at Isolo Senior Secondary School

Despite court order over the wearing of Hijab that even involved the law school. The principal of Isolo Senior Grammar School Mrs. J. O. Sadare still believe she is above the law as a result decided to take the law into her hands by show her hatred for decent dressing of the Muslim girls.

According to Hijab Rights Advocacy Initiative, No fewer than 5 girls including the Assistant Head girl were given letter of suspension for wearing Hijab in school.

The new principal Mrs. J. O. Sadare made it clear that she would not permit the Hijab to be worn in the school, despite the fact it has being constitutional confirmed that wearing Hijab in schools is Fundamental Human Right.

The Muslims Public Affairs Centre also had the report that the Assistant Head girl of the school was biasly removed because she is a Muslim.

As a teacher, principal or head of secondary school in Lagos State, I am sure Mrs. J. O. Sadare is not telling us she is not aware of the Court of Appeal judgement in the case of Asiyat Abdulkareem vs LASG over the wear Hijab in schools. Even if she is claiming that, the recent law school Hijab saga is resonate to someone like her.
