The Muslim Congress (TMC) organised 2nd Annual National Qur’an Competition, Reward the Overall Best Winner with Hajj


The Muslim Congress 2nd Quran Competition
Mua’wiyyah AbdurRahman will be performing the 2019 Hajj Insha Allah as his reward for emerging the Overall Best Winner of just concluded 2nd Annual National Qur’an Competition organised by The Muslim Congress (TMC) at the Main Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka.


It was gathered that the Hajj ticket was donated by Dr. AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef, Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs who graced the occassion. Also in attendance is the Chairman of the occasion Alhaji Ma'ruf Akanni Toluwaloju who gave maximum support to make sure the programme is successful.




The Overall Best also went home with three wrist-watches from “Aago” Watch firm and other cash prizes. The overall 2nd best at the event, Uthman Idris from Lagos State smiles home with a ticket to perform ‘Umrah in 2019 to be sponsored by Captain Abdulkeel Adeoye, who is the Co-Chairman of the occasion and Chairman ATWAK Ventures among other star prizes. Abdul Basit Abdul-Lateef from Kwara State the third best received a laptop, a wrist-watch and cash donation, while four other contestants equally went home with consolation prizes. The panel of judges at the event was well choosen and headed by Imam Abdulazeez Ariremako who has memorised the whole Qur’an himself remarked “it is a great feat to have performed excellently well the way contestant did and that the contest was keenly contested”. In the 2017 and The First edition of the Annual National Qur’an Competition, Mallam Harun Ahmad emerged Overall Best receiving sponsorship to Umrah  among other prizes.
